I loved the John Cleese TomTom voice so I'm going to try to put together what's available and see how the voice pack will work as-is. "in zero point one mile", "in a quarter of a mile", "in a half a mile" can be replaced with approximations of meters or yards, but 1 mile = 1760 yards or 1609 meters, and there's not really a good way around it unless we figure out a good substitute or someone's willing to put up with a different voice for it, or if someone were enterprising enough, find clips of the voice on youtube, in movies, etc. The one glaring problem besides the obvious missing "Police/Accident/Hazard reported ahead" files, is that most of the TomTom voice packs are Imperial/Metric so there's files for "50,80,100,200,300,400,500,600,700,800" and "meters" and "yards" but none for English in the few packs I tried. Made a list of the sound files available and mapped them from the TomTom files to Waze files. I found a pretty large pack of TomTom voices, unpacked the files and converted them from. I also had Phil Miller downloaded, upgraded Waze and forgot to grab it before they nuked it. I had a request for the NPH voice files yesterday and discovered that Waze hadn't cleared out some of the other voice packs I'd downloaded yet, so I figured I'd share those and some of the others out in the wild, make it a little easier for iPhone and Android users to deal with and try out.
